Our Story
Meet the Founder: Edlisha J. Hayden is the proud sole owner of HOI HOME HELP AGENCY INC. With nearly 13 years of experience in the medical field, she founded the company with a commitment to delivering outstanding in-home health services that empower individuals to maintain their independence.
The Industry's History: The journey of home care services began in 1813, when the Ladies Benevolent Society (LBS), a group of dedicated women volunteers in Charleston, South Carolina, initiated their first efforts. Edlisha's story mirrors the strength and resilience of these remarkable women. At just 15 years old, she took on the role of primary caregiver for her mother, who had suffered three mild strokes and a heart attack. A year later, she met her future husband, whose mother was paralyzed on the right side of her body. This led Edlisha to continually care for others, ultimately becoming their primary caregiver and power of attorney. The challenges her family faced fueled her passion to establish her own home help agency..We aim to solve problems, not merely offer services.
